The Oil & Gas Awards announced this year’s Inaugural Canada Oil & Gas Awards recipients in recognition of those companies who excel in the key areas of Health & Safety, Operational Excellence, Innovation, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Stewardship.

The annual Canada Oil & Gas Awards gala ceremony was held at the The Westin Calgary, 320 4th Avenue SW, Calgary, Alberta, where hundreds of oil and gas executives gathered together to celebrate Health and Safety, Operational Excellence, Innovation, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Stewardship.

The Consultancy of the Year Award recognizes third party business consultancy services provided to E&P or midstream companies within the energy industry. The strongest entries demonstrate an impressive record of delivering innovative, original and consistent third party advice on strategy, project delivery and execution or to commodity value fore-casting, M&A advice, strategy, tax planning and corporate compliance. Big Guns Energy Services (BGES) scored highest in the category with such remarks from the judges as:
